I like how you compared the low point in one's life to a fen, wet and hard to trudge through. Then God touched you and brought you to a higher place.
A beautiful sunrise picture.
Well done, Roy.
Have a good week:-)

Thanks again for sharing your personal testimony of how God saved you from addiction and "stirred salvation's dawn" in your heart and soul. Well done in your iambic heptameter sonnet.

Another fine poem to celebrate and honour Jesus for what He has done for you, moving you from the kingdom of darkness into His kingom of light. Well done

You're not alone in those 'wasteful ways' from which God has redeemed you. You're right that God is never late to save. It is our response which is often delayed. Thankfully, He continues to pursue us. Good faith statement. Blessings. Carol

but there are many stumbling stops, addiction was my god,
till one fine day when I wore chains I faced death's miry sod
If these words are not fiction, you are truly blessed. I have lost several loved ones to addiction and they wore their chains straight into death. They had no second chance. Beautiful words of thankfulness. thank you for sharing.
