Amen! I was thinking today that the world doesn't understand what repentance is these days. When news people and politicians spread lies, they don't apologize when confronted with the truth. And when people make things up and malign others on social media, they don't apologize. If people are like that, how would anyone repent and seek the Kingdom of God which calls the humble to the Lord? Great poem! Best wishes in the contest!

A very fitting and appropriate prayer. No one on earth is free from sin. Thanks to Adam, we are all sinners, we cannot help or avoid it. Therefore it is wise and necessary to ask to be forgiven by the one who cannot sin.

A great entry for the My Faith Poetry contest. A fervent prayer of remorse for sins committed and a plea for God's forgiveness. I love the practicality, the genuineness of the prayer, and the total faith in God's saving hand as expressed in the poem. Well done, dear. And good luck in the contest.

Wow, what a heartfelt poem. We all sin. God will ask for forgiveness when we ask for it. Your emotions are expressed well in your words. I enjoyed the poem. Great job.

This poem could be a prayer or hymn. We will always be in a cycle of asking God for forgiveness. No one is perfect. But He will always forgive you if you ask Him.

As I read, I could feel the sincere, faithful honesty and emotion behind each word of your poetic prayer. It demonstrates a straightforward humility asking for God's forgiveness and never ending mercy. I wish you the best in the contest.

This was me all day last Saturday. It was Yom Kippur, the highest Jewish HolyDay, and it was spent repenting in a very similar way as you've written here. I like the photo you chose to accentuate your beautiful poem. Good luck to you in the My Faith Poetry contest. xoxo
