Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

When I was 43 years of age, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I was in severe manic phase of the illness on my first hospitalization. And I have since always tried to get people to understand that these disorders, depression and manic depression, and all sorts of mental disorders are basically a chemical imbalance in the brain and that people can be very productive even though they have these illnesses. I wish you the very best and I do hope that you stay well. One of the keys to dealing with your depression will be to write things about it. It may not touch somebody else as far as them understanding, but it will help you to overcome part of the depression. I wish you the very best and I do hope that you are able to achieve a lot of things. Patricia

    Patricia,
I really appreciate your kind review. Depression is misunderstood and those not affected with it just don't realize how much of a struggle it can be. Mental illness is held against you in some instances. For example here in Texas we can conceal and carry within the state, however, if I went for a conceal and carry to go across state lines I feel it would be held against me because of the antidepressants i'm on. I don't know that for a fact, but I believe they have access to your medication list as part of the app. Just because I have chronic depression and a mood disorder doesn't make me crazy. Thank you for sharing your story. The struggle is real my friend. You stay well as well and have a great day.
