I always enjoy following along and taking this journey with you into the past. We can't look into the future, because there isn't nothing yet to see, but we can see and remember the past. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Ric. They say write what you know and know my past better than most anything. I envy those who create great stories by using their imaginations like you.

Boy meets girl in our lives with sometimes ending 57 years later with children and grandchildren. Today is our life. It has been good. Sending blessings your way.

Thank you, Chuck. I'm glad I had a good marriage and even though he is gone. He left me with good memories. I appreciate the six stars.

Beth,

This is a great story. It flows smoothly and to completion. Sometimes we just never understand signals coming our way. I'm glad your story didn't stop there.

Great Job

Cecilia

Great story about your Junior/Senior banquet and love story... the ending reminded me of my first love when I was 15 years old.

Check this....

"Each year the roses made the old house look be[B1] autiful"

So another girl claimed Dave's attention, maybe it was for the best.

Victor was cute and maybe he tured out to be your husband?

Well done!

This was a very captivating installation. I can't wait to find out who this mysterious stranger is. I love the little side stories you weave into your narrative. It's those little details that illustrate the story. Gretchen

Thank you, Gretchen. I appreciate you saying that because I afraid the side stories might make sound to broken up.

These slices of real life are engaging and entertaining and told with such candor with reference to the way people ordered their lives and their belief systems. I look forward to reading them.

Oh yes, the way I look at fate is the outcome of something we didn't really want to happen, but we tempted fate and something undesirable happened, but then, there are terrible things happen being in the right place at the wrong time, but somehow I can trace God's hand on my life, even when I didn't know Him, beautifully written Beth, blessings Roy

I'm sorry I've missed some of this, Beth, it's such a lovely story. I have an idea who this young man might be but I will wait until I read the next part before I say anything.
I thought that neighbour who instigated the collection of all your grandmothers roses. How awful! Your poor grandmother was too nice to say no they couldn't have them. I hope they suffered one day, too!! It's just a shame there are more poeple around like your lovely gran.
Well done, my friend, I really enjoyed this story. I'll make sure I don't miss any more. :)) Sandra xxx
