Once again perfect rhyming also such a cute picture. I'm sure John will really love your poem and Piano Man by Billy Joel, one of my favorite songs. Songs with a story always appeal to me. 10.30 pm I'm off to bed Night Night Sleep Tight.

Gaye, I got lost in the middle of three poems that had to be done almost at the same time so I came looking for you as I would never forget your sweet loving reviews. Thanks ever so much and know how much I appreciate you. In the new year I don''t plan on writing at much, and hopefully my eyes will heal when I have the surgery so I get my sight back, love you and thanks again, dear friend.

Hi Debi,
I really should review more folks, but I can barely keep up with the ones I do now. Some folks are in the habit of posting two or three times a day. I just don't have the time to review everything, especially right now. Maybe after the new year things will settle down a little.

That is part of the reason I can barely review. My allotted screen time just isn't enough, so thank you for making it when you do. That is why I do these poems and try to promote high so that I can pay you guys back somehow.

Dearest Shadrach, by any chance are you talking about Cal Ripken Jr of the Orioles? He was one heck of a player. In fact the reason I know about him is because I knew about him breaking Lou Gehrig's record. And I knew that because I had a very good friend who died of Lou Gehrigs' disease. So I looked it up a long time ago and that is when I learned more about Ripken.
I love baseball too, but I am a bigger football fan.

You hit the home run with Lou Gehrig. Cal Ripken Jr. was a great player as well. I'm a old school fan of the greats that led the path of those to follow

Added to that I love Piano Man. This was one of the first songs I learned to sing properly back pre-COVID when I was helping run Open Mics around my local area.

I love Billie Joel so much I have seen him four times in concert. I live in central MN and yet I drove to Ames. Iowa to see him and Elton John together.
