I loved seeing the Aussie slang represented in this poem, coming from a farm, with lots of shearers around at certain times of the year, this reminded me of how they speak.

Great poem, and best of luck with this entry for the competition, it is one of the better ones I've reviewed, or perhaps being an Aussie, I am biased, hehehe :)

This is a truly funny poem, and I would never have guessed you were meeting a contest challenge to include ten words. This challenge even made you use them at the end of lines, and you pulled that off too. Your rhyming couplets often add to the humor of the poem. I love how you use the Aussie lingo, especially since clobber, a required word, means something different that way than what most of us would think
