An excellent write, the poet followed strictly the requirements of the contest and was really effective in the execution of a nature haiku. The Aha moment of a lamb in trouble is a perfect satori for this poem. God bless.

Poor lamb gets sympathetic mention for the predatory look of the soaring eagle in satori of the haiku. The accompanying picture of the eagle complements the haiku nicely. Best of luck in the contest.

Wow! That artwork is positively stunning and is the perfect accompaniment for your haiku. Your syllable count is also appropriate for a haiku. I've never seen an eagle carrying a lamb, and frankly hope I never do, but I enjoyed your poem and wish you the best of luck in the contest. Well done!
