Beautifully written poem, Kay.
Peace in the world definitely depends
on Christ being a part of our lives
Without faith in Him we are doomed.

Kay, this is a wonderful poem and pronounces the many prophesies and promises found in Scripture. And while trying not to get too discouraged by all of the vain rebellions in the world I do take heart in one thing when Christ said to fret not that we would always have a troubled world, but He has overcome the world! Have a blesse day - Loren.

This is an awesome faith poem, my friend. So timely too. There is such a lot of terrible things happening in the world today, but as you said, have faith and He will conquer the evil that is here. Well done, my friend. Good luck in the contest. Is it a site contest or a prompt? If it's a prompt, you have a strong contender here. :) Sandra xxxx

What a wonderful poem Kay. We are all looking forward to the day there is peace in the world. Love that last verse.
Light of the World comes to stay
Lamb of God takes evil away
Faith brings unity, wars will cease
The solution comes, reigning peace.
Well done my friend. A sixer for this. Nancy

This is an uplifting poem that gives hope. Haven't we had enough of this fighting and wasting time on useless goals and making ill gotten money? We can never fight evil with force, it just seems to grow. I pray for peace an believe that Man will come to his senses and realize one day what is truly important during our short time on this earth. Cheers, judester

Ah, we can always hope, can't we, Kay?
I like how you used the symbolism of animals to depict various countries.
Bear=Mother Russia.
Eagle=The United States
Dragon=China, Korea, or possibly even Japan.
And the Lamb, of course, as Jesus Himself.
Countries with the differences of philosophies and ideologies which each of our respective nations has could not hope for a better moderator to create peace and harmony among them than Christ.
Great work, Kay!

I think one day there will definitely be world peace, as you've said, when Christ returns. Things will get much worse first though. BUT...no worries, if you have faith...which you've written a lovely poem for here....blessings....
