This is a warm sweet write about how you came to look after Felix, such a kind act to have taken the cat in and give it a home, brought a tear to my eye. We had a rescue cat for 17 years called Jake and he was just a joy, animals can bring a new dimension to your life, bring hope and love into your world like nothing else, I really enjoyed your wonderful story, you brightened my Sunday, love Dolly x

Dear Dolly, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Thank you also for letting me know you are a kindred spirit. It is so pleasant to met someone who is on the same wavelength. Felix will be the subject of future stories, so I hope you enjoy them as much as this one. cheers Cass

This is a lovely story about Felix, Cass. I'm looking forward to hearing more about him.
Felix looks like one of my cats name PC. He, too, is a most unusual cat.
I'm so happy you joined our club.

Dear Friend, Thank you for your review and the five stars. I didn't have any photos of Felix that I could put on the screen as he died long before there were such things, but the picture I found is so like him it is amazing. There will be more stories about him and his frail little companion Tiki. cheers Cass

I love animal stories and this one is no exception. It is fun and sweet. I am so happy your heart took in this poor little kitty and gave him a home and love. I enjoyed your story.

Dear Jusylee, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Felix brought so much into our lives with his wise, little ways and amusing behaviour, it was a meet reward for the act of giving him a home. There are more stories about Felix to come. I hope you enjoy them too. Cheers Cass

Hi Cass,
I'm a sucker for a good cat story, and I enjoyed his one :) We have had many cats and dogs over the years. They all have their own personalities.
Just a few things I noticed while reading.
- "...shivering,black kitten..." - Evil Eddie put a comma in there that shouldn't be there I think.
- "...Mr. Paxton looked him over." - need a space here between the end of this sentence and the start of the next sentence.
- "...he reassured me"Nothing a shot of Penicillin..." - "...he reassured me, "Nothing..."
- "...to my door as a shivering ,maimed scrap..." - shivering, maimed - shift the comma to the left.
- headlights are one word?
- "...to wait for my husband to come in." - need a space after this line and before the next paragraph.

Dear Joy, Thank you for your review and the five stars. You eagle eye picked up several points that I had overlooked, so I have heeded your wise words and fixed'em up. This has been a delight to write as I have been wanting to flex my prose muscles for some time now. With Felix's adventurous life I now have a subject to really get going on. cheers Cass

Dear Kathy, thank you for your review and the five stars. Felix was an unusual cat in that he seemed to have an understanding in excess of purely animal instincts. As much as I loved him I think he loved me equally. The next Felix story won't be long in coming. I hope you enjoy it as much as this one . cheers Cass

I love your story about Felix the unusual cat. We had a tabby once that thought he was a dog. Best kind of cat there is, I think.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us.

Dear Sharon, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Yes, I knew a cat that thought he was a dog. He was hilarious. Poor thing though, boy! was he confused. It did improve a bit when one day he got scared up a tree, and sat there looking down at everyone rather smugly. He got down on his own when he got hungry and after that the'd shinny up anything vertical just to show us he didn't do it by accident. cheers Cass

Dear Ben, Than you for your review and the five stars. Yes Felix knew who brought home the bacon and cuddled up to him shamelessly. But Felix was MY cat. .He would sit on the lap of any "cat" person who visited, but ignore anyone who didn't like cats, treating them to a haughty flick of his long, black tail before curling up to sleep nearby. He had many human traits, but was endearingly feline. Cheers Cass
