Thank you so very much, Jen -- appreciate the congrats, ma'am, and this wonderful review! You know, this one was written after a long week and, even though many of mine may or not be so, these words REALLY reflected how I saw sleep coming that night!! ;) :) Thanx again and take care out there!! ;) Yvette

A very well-written Nonet poem about the protective blanket of the night where no one can see the tears in your eyes or the sorrows you bear, and we can pretend all is okay.

Your nonet is skillfully-written, moving, and beautifully descriptive.
Through excellent metaphors, you have vividly described nighttime as a comforting visitor.

A stunning Nonet with a striking image that complements your poem. I like the images that you have created with your words. The poem could stand on it's own.

Yes, the attraction of night tends to hide many imperfections, and the softened night offers s sort of blanket depending on the need. A beautifully written nonet entry in this contest, superbly worded, well done, good luck, accurate syllable count, blessings, Roy

The nonet form poses a great challenge to poets, and you showed an impressive mastery of this form. Whether reading it while knowing it is a nonet, or simply hearing it read without knowing its form, we find it fascinating.
The image conjured up by the words sets us at ease, and you chose an excellent picture as well. Very good!

Very beautifully expressed! Of course, the structure is a perfect nonet, but it is also very creatively done with the changing of color with the changing of the day to the night. Thank you for sharing this! Love it! xoxo

No one talks about the comfort of our nightly sleep and how it rejuvenates us, so I'm happy to read your lovely poem about the wrap that brings us peace for another day. Love it. Well done with a picture to match.

At this time of night when all is calm and silent, the darkness takes away the harshness of the day. But it brings the soothing night noise that envelopes the world at this hour until the sun shines bright again.
