A great poem. The rhyming scheme was consistent and flowed lovely, really complimented the topic itself and made for a very enjoyable read! Best of luck

The first thing I noticed is your Picasso style of image. You met all the requirements of the contest perfectly. Your rhyme and rhythm worked well with this piece. Thank you for sharing your lovely poem. Blessings. ~Brenda

A well expressed moment of anxiety, in which no one can be truly sure of the outcome. The stanzas follow the syllable count, but I'm not sure that the last two lines adhere to the rhyming scheme of "cc." If the phrase "his pleas are won," is placed before "Upon a bended knee" I think works better; then "glee" would rhyme with "knee." Just a thought... ...ec

A very well-written Ottava rima about accepting the ring from the man of your dreams are a special occasion that we don't
Forget for the rest of our lives.

Sandra, thank you so much! My request of betrothal has lasted 36 plus years and going strong. So grateful and so thankful!

A well written Ottava rima, written in articulate language, although I was left in wonder of the incredible ring, the beautifully ardorned circle, and who received it was very fortunate. But beautifully written, in highly descriptive language, the rhyming was great, well structured imagery, well done, blessings, Roy

-Nice artwork.
-A well written poem
with good form and topic.
-You create a vivid
word picture of this
special occasion.
-The ring sounds beautiful,
but I am sure the surprise
and the meaning behind it
meant much more.
-A good entry; good luck.

This is a well crafted ottava rima that portrays the depth of emotions when one pops the question. The confusion is mutual, but it works out in the end as love conquers all fears. Interesting artwork to go with these sentiments.

Cool! Very interesting, moving and inspirational. An interesting description of the picture that came with it. Although a little spell checking would help, it's not bad.

Your contest offering depicting that emotional proposal scene is very well phrased for the contest. Thank you for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;) :)
