Well, this must have appeared on FS before my arrival. I found it a funny mix. Above all I expected the woman to be related to the scarecrow... dumb me. Also how come the scarecrow got away with brown face paint, when Brian Watts didn't? Kate xx

Love these! I know it's a "reprint," but I am relatively new to this site and didn't get to enjoy them last year. I'm a huge horror fan, and these were all enjoyable. Right to the point and pungent, no wasted space for action and fright. Thanks for sharing these again!!!!

Liz, this is so very, very clever. All the parts fit together, thematically. (I couldn't agree more about the guy in blackface. It was a shame he had to cave just to keep his job. Liz, this is so very, very clever. All the parts fit together, thematically. (I couldn't agree more about the guy in blackface. It was a shame he had to cave just to keep his job. It is getting harder to just enjoy good humour with no-one taking offence at something! But in the contest with your red dirt-devil, of course you should have won! It was an original and creative idea, and thought and care had gone into every part of the costume! Crazy that you should lose to a scare-crow - not at all original or creative, and easy to make. And I don't see why the two men judges had to give in to the woman judge either! Ah well.
