How nice to have that outlook. Good presentation. It is great to have such a positive attitude and count the many blessings we receive. So many take life for granted. I think nature brings us closer to the Creator.

This truly is a lovely poem that answers the writing prompt perfectly! Some things I enjoyed about the submission include the colorful descriptions of the scene, the calm rhythm, and the picture, which paired beautifully. Good luck to you in the writing prompt contest!

I like this poem and it is very encouraging. Yes. Why not think the light is shining just for you, from above and from God. We can all use some love and when we get it, don't ask why. Just enjoy it
Well done.

Yes, of course, take the light and run with it; maybe spread it as well. Thank you for your awesome comments.
Comment from Jessica M Lee
"a sliver of light lit my way, a sublime and warm embrace. I knew that light was intended for me..." When the storms of life beat on our doors, a break from it is nice. A time to settle the nerves and breathe a little. A time to take in what matters most - the littlest of things that we sometimes take advantage of. Our Heavenly Father knows our trials and gives us a glimmer of hope so that we have the "push" to continue on fighting. Nice work and best of luck in the contest:)

"Sunlight", is an extremely well-written, and deftly descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill. It was a pleasure to both read and review, this talented poet's work. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Taking a walk on a lovely day is certainly a good way to count our blessings. They are around us everywhere if we just stop and look.
Well done.
Blessings abound

Hello, anonymous,
A wonderful entry for the encouraging poetry writing prompt contest. I agree with you, feeling grateful makes a big difference in the quality of life. Sometimes we feel connected to God or providence and it's a great feeling. Well done.

Dear Mystery Poet,
How fun! I love the way you put this -- that ray of sunlight and heart-warming touch was not just any errant beam of light - it was fully meant to speak directly to you. That's awesome!
Thanks and good luck!

We may not be on the sunny side of the street, but we can see the light on the sunny side. Our enjoyment of life does or should not depend upon our circumstances, but upon our outlook. We can choose to count our blessings or we can moan about our limitations. The sun still shines - either way. Thank you for your uplifting and thought-provoking piece
