This piece is rated six stars. I find no wrong, and love the flow, the imagination and the effort exposed. Very well done. Perhaps a "won" is forthcoming if others feel likewise.

I Love This!!!!!
It is creative,
Imaginative,
whimsical,
light,
and bouncy.
To truly experience and appreciate this verse, I read it aloud.
It is positively ALIVE.
You did a tremendous job word painting and drawing the reader in to take hold of the red balloon dog:)

Smiling---this is a delightful poem of phobias. Popping balloons always makes me jump even when I'm expecting it. But. popping animal balloons is just wrong. well done.
Blessings

-Nice artwork and presentation.
-You wrote a good poem with effective imagery.
-You set the poem up well with what makes you tense.
-Good comparison with "fragile as glass."
-I like the closing lines as the child gets
the "newborn balloon dog!"
-A good entry; good luck.

I always felt bad when someone made a balloon animal. All it took was one twist and the animal was maimed. I like how you formatted this. It made you pause when needed and see the twisting and molding going on. Well done.

This is a terrific entry into the phobia contest. I have never encountered this phobia before, but your strong writing alludes to the possibility of a bursting balloon animal setting off this phobia in a young child.
All the different fonts demonstrate anxieties that might arise.
Wishing you great luck with the voters. :))

So are you afraid of the people who create balloon objects or the sound of a balloon being twisted into a form, or both. Well done free verse using word format to enhance the sights and sounds of this image/
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Interesting use of the varied fonts to imitate the action in your poem! I'm wondering, do you have a phobia about loud popping noises? Your tagline would suggest this! (Mine would be all balloons, including balloon animals!) By now you may have developed a new phobia for dimwitted reviewers such as me who get caught up in such questions when they ought to just enjoy the ride!
(I have to admit, it's not a phobia, but I HATE the "stridulous" whine of a balloon protesting!)
