I love the story. It certainly fits the contest. Jack Daniels is some good stuff. I am assuming your bottle was Old #7. I am fond of Gentleman Jack and Jack Daniels Single Barrel. And the country song about...Good whiskey never lets you lose your place. Well done. Terry.

That's an incredible true story! One for the "how can that possibly be real" files, and yet it clearly was, because you saw the documentary evidence to prove it. Enjoy your precious fifth.

This is a fantastic story and I am glad that it is true! Whisky is a favorite of mine for coffee. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but as a winter drink, it warms you right up.
The story moved at an appropriate rate with just the right amount of detail to hold the readers interest. I didn't find myself skipping over sentences. I was genuinely interested in the narrators perspective.

Thank you, Janis. I have written a handful of ghost stories I put on this site and all are true, although this one did not creep me out like the others did.
Try Tennessee Salted Carmel Whiskey in your coffee or in apple cider. Oh my, my and yes a third?my!
