A beautiful poem from your sweet and tender soul. I can relate as I have been in this place many, many times and wondered where God was. A little devotion book I read most every day, In Him Will I Trust, has a saying in it by the author. "In your distress, cry out to God, and say, My Father, I do not understand you, but I trust in your love."
We can always be assured in God's love for us! and than nothing can ever separate us from His love according to Romans 8, nothing in this life or in the unseen world! He is always for us, with us, as we abide in Christ!
I Pray for you now, dearest Debi, that the Lord would restore you joy and surround you with His love and many blessings. I pray for strength, healing, grace, and peace to come to you this moment. Angels dispatched to your side. I'm thanking the Lord for you tonight and for the wonderful blessing you are to so many! In the Mighty, all powerful name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!
Thank you again for sharing.
Love & Blessings from my heart to yours, always.

This is a sweet and very poignant verse revealing a loss at the moment of your bright side and the support you so badly need to counter this insecurity. Shallow challenges need first to be swept away which I'm sure they will soon. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt poem and my very best wishes to you. Take care Debbie

Debbie, yes, that is something I never want to be known for as being shallow. By the way, the soft and lovely rose reminded me of you, my lovely friend.
So thanks for the lovely review and comments for my poem of faith.
I appreciate your kind words. Love, Debi

A beautiful poem, my friend, with a stunning piece of artwork to enhance it. We don't always get to know the reason why God sometimes chooses not to answer a prayer or, at least, not in the way we expect. Sometimes the reason is revealed in His own good time and then it makes sense--other times we may not know until we reach Heaven and can understand. All we can do is trust in His wisdom that he will give us what we need, not always what we ask, when it's the right time. Sending prayers from my heart for you.

Sometimes God says yes, or no, or not yet. "No" and "Not yet" are hard to hear. Trusting His perfect timing is hard to do. That longing and that faith are both expressed well in your poem.

-Beautiful artwork and nice presentation, Debi.
-You wrote a very good poem that comes from your heart.
-I am very glad to see it since, like many,
I have been thinking of you and what you've been going through.
-This is more like you because it comes from your heart
with sincerity and honesty.
-I think it is the rare person who doesn't go through something
and has to wonder about it. You aptly call them
"life's little stings."
-You have a very good conclusion and someday you will understand.
-I hope that writing this poem and seeing your friends commenting
and giving you support, that you feel a little bit better.
-Whenever you are up to it, I would encourage you to write poems
that are on the bright side.
-Take care, and thoughts, prayers, and love are sent your way.
-You are right about the idea of someday they will make sense to you.
-The important thing is not to dwell on them.
-I can also understand that you are struggling and not finding
your bright side, but you have done an exceptional job with this poem.
-In my opinion this is going to help you heal, along with your prayers,
and the many prayers coming your way from you friends.

A beautiful poem Debi. Excellent message for us all that I know I can relate to.
I was told that God always answers our prayers. Sometimes the answer is "yes", sometimes "no" and sometimes we have to be patient and wait. That's hard to do. I've been waiting for 29 years for one prayer to be answered and I'm still waiting.
Your poem is heartfelt and hopeful. The answers will come.
Blessings my dear friend.

And now your 29 year old prayer is my prayer. I have been praying for a few months now. So maybe God gives us maybe's sometimes. When I had cancer it was only after I had prayers in many churches and it disappeared. My oncologist became a believer after we told him that I had many prayers by lots of congregations. Then when my cancer disappeared, he started asking questions, when it never came back he was already a Christian, and attending church. He couldn't believe the way my miracle worked. He said he would accept help from HIM anyday. And he now is a missionary. I love how God uses each other to help show miracles. So never stop believing. Prayer in numbers helps. I am going to ask Helen and Sally to join in. If that is ok?
Thanks for the wonderful review and comments and the beautiful six stars, and also for being so supportive. I love and appreciate you so much, my dear friend. Love, Debi

Prayer is powerful and you?ve been in my prayers for some time but this latest encounter has increased my prayers for you. Your miracle of healing is powerful and that your doctor was brought to the Lord through your healing is inspiring.
I appreciate your prayers on my behalf as well as Sally and Helen. Sally is aware of my situation but I don?t think I?ve ever told Helen. I believe in the power of prayer and prayer in numbers definitely helps.
Stay strong my friend. You are loved and greatly appreciated.
Blessings
Janet

Well my heart broke for you too when I heard, so I believe it isn't just the prayer but the sincerity of the prayer. Thank you so much for yours in return. I am starting to feel a bit better today. God bless you for caring. 😘

Oh yes dear Debi, our sufferings are noticed by God, but He allows us to go through them, because it is the valley of despair we seek the truth, and for Him who justifies us. I'm learning about crucibles as we all will, beautifully written prayer Debi, blessings Roy

Debi, This is a very beautiful and well written poem about wondering why and when something will happen that you have prayed about. It is hard to try to understand at times, but the more I learn about God and His Holy Word the easier it is to relax and continue to pray and let God be God. Beautiful imagery you used. love and blessings, teri

Hi Debi. I enjoyed your poem. Sounds like me. I get Impatient. It seems as though he takes too long. I know he will answer me in his time. Your poem is so heartfelt. It is descriptive and well written. Life is hard. Love, Brenda

Dang, this is a beautiful poem you have written Debi. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not going to get me back in the pews at the Baptist church this coming Sunday.
But it's beautiful enough for me to see the beauty of the person who wrote it. Terry.
