Galvin is a jealous dork. It was a wonderful idea to Let Sami join her family for Father's Day. There is no mention of Noah being there, but I assume he was in a protective mode.

I hope the picnic won't raise suspicions, especially with Sami's sister going to the store. I like that Sami was thinking of Sarah and had her sister get a pregnancy test. Interesting that Galvin had left but immediately turned around and came back. I wonder if he would have told Sami her impetuousness hasn't changed since they last spoke, as it surely hasn't been that long. Galvin doesn't seem to have much confidence in his team, but he doesn't seem to have much personal involvement in what they do. It is a setback that Chen got away, but like Sami I'm sure they'll catch him soon. Excellent dialogue. Sounds rather risky to have her outdoors for a family picnic, but I'm sure Noah has thought of security. judi

Nice touch. It is refreshing in view of the stress the characters have to have been going through to be able to celebrate a family holiday. A holiday celebration that includes the protective crew as well. You did a very fine job of creating this respite from the everyday grind of a protective custody detail.

This was such a wonderful escape. I felt like I was being reunited with my own family. The beauty of the picnic made it easy and I could breathe again. I'm glad Galvin returned and cleared the air somewhat, but I still don't completely trust him. A really good addition to this story. Gretchen
