This is such an inspiring and a heartfelt piece for Nomi, I've seen many poems for Nomi over the past few days, I can really feel that she is in the heart of many people. An excellent piece, Karenina. I enjoyed reading it.

Dear Karenina, this is such a beautiful poem for Nomi. I've been married almost 49 years and I cannot imagine the agony of loosing Jack. He's the other half of me. The scripture from John 16 is very comforting and we that know the Lord realize there's more to life than our earthly tour. In Christ we have this promised, cherished hope.
Nomi, I'm praying for you and your family that God will draw near to you all with His special comfort. My sincere condolences in your loss of Yvonne.

I nearly passed this one by as I'm wary of spiritual poetry but I'm so glad I stopped to read it. It's a beautiful tribute and the straightforward format works perfectly - its simplicity allows the feeling to shine through. I try to suggest something when I write a review but I really can't find anything to suggest with this one. I'm new to this site so don't know the circumstances behind the poem but it still brought tears to my eyes. Well done.

Welcome to FanStory, Sue! Thanks so much for stopping to read and review this. Nomi is a much loved member here who !most his wife of 51 years when she passed away in her sleep last Wednesday. This is that kind of sure we care about one another and share through our writing, when one of us mourning. I'm so happy you're with us!

It was Nomi who shared the circumstances in a reply/review exchange...
There were two chapter fours somehow, so per Tom, I edited to now be chapter seven...

Oh, I don't know how you do that. Debi was asking how to add Pam's poem to the book. Hope it's easy to do. I thought Tom had to do that.

Tom told me to just go in and edit chapter four to the next available chapter...
Who knew it'd be that easy?
I don't know about moving Pam's poem...and I didn't ask Tom as I didn't know at the time!
(I bet he can do it!)

I remember about Nomi and he is a very good rhyming poet. His poems usually flows very well. It's sad that his wife left him after 51 years of marriage. He still has friends here.
