Your poem is personal and very dear to your heart.
In writing such a poem, you smile and grieve until you finish it.
Your picture, colors, and font are nice as well as your couplets.
Congratulations on being Recognized and good luck with it.

Oh Nomi. I am so sorry for your loss. The fact that you had the strength to write about the death of your beloved wife Yvonne surely commends six stars. Such a sad but very powerful poem. Bless you this day and everyday Nomi. Great work!

I have been married over fifty years, and cannot not begin to imagine the pain you feel. The heartfelt words of your poem, filled with raw, sincere emotion brought tears to my eyes. Since death is a part of life, God has His loving arms wrapped tightly around you, knowing how difficult it is when He calls one of His children home. God has left you with the gift of memory.
As you grieve, beautiful memories of Yvonne will remain until the pain, with the help of God, friends and family, is replaced with acceptance, which means you gradually re-engage with life while you miss Yvonne and grieve her home-going. God will be with you every step of the way.
I am so sorry Yvonne is no longer physically with you, but her spirit will be with you forever. I pray for your strength.

Nolan,
Your exceptional poem is heartfelt. Losing someone that close is heartbreaking. (My dad lost my mom after 64 years of marriage) He was devastated too. He found joy in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren then.
My mother had dementia; I'm afraid one day I will get that too.
Your poignant photo and words are uplifting. Never doubt that you will be with your loved one again!
Best wishes, Nolan.
Cindy
I wanted to write a poem for you like other Fanstorians did.
I read most of them and knew I could not write one as elegant as they.
Prayers.

Hello Nolan,
My sincere condolences to you and your family on this sad occasion.
Fifty One years, what a magnificent marriage. I'm sure you will once again
meet Yvonne and she'll say, "I've been waiting for you, Nolan."
You'll both smile and embrace an eternity of love.
Beautiful poem in her honor, a true poet, my friend.
Best wishes to you and your family.
Six stars to light her way and shine forever.

Amazing to feel so much and get it down so beautifully, Nomi. You are going through so much and I hate so badly to see you hurting so.
Your poem was full of such love for Yvonne and shows the reason why you made it to 51 years in your marriage.
Yes, you will be together again, but in the mean time may your family flourish you with love and honor, may you feel her in many sunrises and sunsets and like I said in my poem, may you see her in that butterfly that lands by your side. God puts those there for you to relate more to the beauty of her part of the ONE that she wants you to continue seeing. Her spirit she left behind for you.
God bless you, Nomi and I hope you smile again soon. Remember it is not a bad thing, but you will honor her when you do so as she will know that she really did make a difference in your heart.
Lotsa love and prayers for you, big brother. And some big Hugs too.... Debi
