Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Oh my goodness, judi!
What a hoot!
I am still smiling.
I loved the tidbits = especially the part about Lee and me hawking our new book. (That not only was humorous, but very kind of you to mention!) The additional two dollars for each book was Lee's idea... :) And of course, I smiled at the thought of my having flown in flowers from my garden! (A young mother/neighbor shared with me this weekend that her daughter refers to me as the "Garden Fairy," and because the roof of our home is saturated at the moment with leaves, she told her mother that "The Garden Fairy's home is like a gingerbread house now... right out of a fairy tale!) Goodness!
And I also enjoyed the subtle humor involved when Tom presented his awards...
So very much enjoyed!
(I hope to contribute a chapter, if I don't have Jury Duty this week; I'll find out tomorrow! It takes me a while to write prose!)

Thank you for sharing!
fondly,
diane

Thanks so much for your review and comments, and thanks for that generous six-star rating. I had as much fun writing this as if I had actually been there. In Indiana, where I live, people of a certain age can be excused from jury duty. I thought having the flowers flown in sounds like something you would do. judi

    Good morning, judi!
Yes! I thought that anyone over 70 could be excused from Jury Duty, but there is/was no mention of that on the document I received last week. We'll see how it goes...
I began writing a chapter for Detour late last night = abysmal! Hah!
I'll keep you posted about my civic duties!

Here's to a beautiful new week!

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

Love-love-love to the nth degree!! It was like listening to one of those after-the-game sports shows that evoke pangs of "Ohhh! I wish I'd been there!"

You did a glorious job (I especially loved "everyone was dressed to the nines except Lea Tonin who received a unanimous ten from all the men in attendance." She definitely WOULD, too!!)

I also loved the explanation about why you chose to be a wild bull to Barbara's matador. Hilarious!

Anyway, thank you so very much for adding your literary panache and sparkle to our novel. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and am sure that everyone else will, as well.

xoxoxo
PS - Could you please change your title, though? It's supposed to read "Judiverse's Version." You can put the "A Dream Came True" into the description if you'd like. Thanks, J. xoxoxo

Thanks so much for your review and comments. I have a great time writing this and couldn't wait to post. I have changed the title. That's why I rate the "honorable mention." Already heard from Diane, who wrote that she enjoyed it, especially the part about her having the flowers flown in. judi
