Hi Jake, I have switched your birthday and I am sorry about it. Your notes to me were a little scrambled and in one part it I said I am 77. It didn't say years but that is how I took it. To anyone I haven't answered yet, I will make sure they know your real birthday. Also I will go back and edit and add it into all the others. So there will be nobody left that thinks you are 77.
I will also send your last one to you as soon as I am done here. I spent a lot of time to make this a nice tribute to you. I am taking it that you don't much care for it.. I am sorry about that. I have never had that happen before.
I can reassure you that people think a lot more of you with this poem than if I had listed in details all that you gave me. I don't do that kind of poems. I did detail your last one because that was information that people enjoy hearing.

Hi Cecilia, if you look in the notes of all of these poems, you will see an invitation to let me know if they want one. I know I asked you but that was because your birthday was a couple days after mine. And besides I thought it would help you get more fans that would lead to more reviews. And I didn't even know you were a MN girl at one time. LOL..
Anyway the first year most of all the people that reviewed me, I did. But now if they want one, they ask me. This was a very busy week so now I have time to do yours for Nov. 1st or 2nd.
You ask me how long they take, and I know everyone thinks they come easy but they are extremely difficult because first of all not every word fits into every spot, and you have to put it in an order that makes sense,, rhyme it and make sure you are spot on with meter. It take me a good 12 hours to do a good job on one. Some may be easier but that is if you don't have the info that has to be perfect. Plus don't you find walking away and looking at it again really helps get a better perspective. I call it my recipe for good writing. I put the main ingredients in it. I let it simmer for an hour, then I come back and stir it, season it and let it simmer some more.
Thanks for all the kind words, sweetie. Cannot wait to see you again soon. Make sure you when you get up that morning you read it and if it isn't right, then you let me know what needs changing. I tend to hold my breath until I know for sure.

I like that you gave us the "flavor" of his many brushes with cheating death, but did not weigh down the "fun" of the birthday celebration by going into each of them. (I know many can be found in his portfolio and are very interesting)

No, I said that. In his poem I said that Jake was 77, because something in my notes made it look like he was saying he was 77. But he corrected it and I wanted everyone to know the truth.

He has a vivid imagination and I enjoy his story on demons and other hellish night creatures that met in Cosmo's bar.
Jake dreamed of a mystery woman for eight years and then their paths clashed and they married soon after.
He loves living in Korea, but lately, he has felt homesick. I see why now.
I didn't know he was already 77. As the years pile on, we yearn to return home, which is Berkeley for Jake.
I recall reading about Jake's many health issues throughout his life...
I notice that Jake posts nice artwork to showcase his work now.
And of course, he loves, loves, loves coffee. (wink) but hates Trump.
I think Jake will be tickled pink with your poem.
