Hi Pupa...I'm glad that you are ok now!!

You've expressed the agony of this distressful emotional pull well, even with the way the poem is formed, like you were in danger of there being nothing left. Then hope came and you took one step and than another and were free from whatever chain pulled you down. Well done !

I love the style and format of this poem. It's really very cool; it's fun to read. You've done a wonderful job with it-it must have been a challenging one to write. Very nicely done! I just may try something like this.

all of us have ups and downs
i wish mine was easier
sometimes i do that per day
sometimes it takes weeks
for a day i was hopeful
that is nearly two weeks ago
now i am just strained
so when i read your poem
i so identify with it
and the way you expressed it
great work

Depression and grief, sorrow and anger, hate and pain, blame and self-pity are the banes of mankind. The human heart is so vulnerable to those kind of emotions and sometimes it feels like what your poem expresses. Hope everything gets better and better as each day passes. You are such kind and sensitive person. Blessings, Linda

First, I am glad that you are OK now. I love the way you have written this. It is attractive to look at and yet is such a touching poem. I like the letting go of your burdens one by one until you can reach the surface and breath again part. Very sound advice. God bless you.

this poem is formatted like the person
going under and then rising back to the surface
that was a very clever way to format this well written verse
it also had very goods imagery and flow to it thoughts
this was my pleasure to have read and reviewed it... John

I love your poem. It encourages one to relax and unwind because hope is just in front of you. Trying to untangle yourself from the complexity of problems is a sure way to attain the real hope of seeing the end of the tunnel. I like the format of your poem and nice imagery too. Good job!

I really love your poems because I can feel the passion when you write. This poem makes me think of someone who is very depressed and is at wits end. They see no light at the end of the tunnel. They want to express these feeling but have noone.I have had times when I felt depressed and lonely with noone to talk to so I just write in my journal and I always feel better. Pupa you are GREAT!! Keep writing those great poems.

Beautifully and uniquely done. First
taking the reader down the path of
drowning in your feelings of dispair,
everything looking so bleak, but then hitting
the bottom, letting go of all those thoughts
of grief, sorrow, anger, hate and all the other
negative attitudes, throwing them away and
coming up from the dark bottom into the light
of the surface to start over again.
Well done
