Intuition is like another sense and the times I have paid attention to that little warning voice of intuition I have been happy I did. Under many circumstances your poem encourages us to pay attention to that extra sense. That makes good sense.

A unique twist on the Faith topic -
exhorting faith in intuition.
I like that you advise combining this trait
with common sense. Interpreting intuition
can be a tricky thing! It's a skill that, just
like walking or talking, needs to be developed
until it becomes second nature :-)

RPS,
You did a wonderful job with this challenge. Well chosen words, colorful arrangement and wonderfully decorated thoughts. Thoughts are expressed and described well. The flow was very nice. The theme was good. Your arrangement looks very nice. The artwork complemented your poem.
There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

An intersting poem about that hidden and little understood power we all have within. Sometimes it is our gut feeling that saves us from the most unutterable folly.

Comment from BLACKDYKE
The very wisest info' and cleverest poetry RPS'. I found it necessary to read not once but many times to get the most from it. I think I like verse three best, but it is quite brilliant as a whole. Well worthy of the 'All Time Best' accolade. Eric

Wow! You have given such depth to the common phrase, "I have a feeling..."
I've experienced this many time in life but I have never thought to understand how it helps to (in a sense ) guide a persons thoughts, decisions, and actions.
I also enjoyed and learned from your author's notes.
Wonderful writing,

This work while grounded by truth and considerable effort for meaningful rhyme I think suffers from not sticking to a metered beat. It's not my place to tell you how that's done but it is noticeable.Try as I might I could not stick to a beat- which in Rhyming quatrains is usually preferred. If you had chosen a blank verse format those same rhymes would have been spectacular, and the meaning just as clear.

"Elevating the common sense..." is my favorite line of this poem, my friend - it's so true that we are out of touch with our instincts most of the time, but they usually kick in when there's a threat or something very important to us. This is thought-provoking and timely. We've become far too reliant on technology these days, IMO.

RPSaxena....this is a very good entry into the Faith Poetry contest. I reads very well aloud and the verses move one to the next with good precision and logically. Can't pick out a verse I enjoyed most...they are all very well-written and expressive. I wish you good luck in the contest. God bless and hugs, Susanne

Hi RP - a very well written poem in good abab rhyme form maintained throughout. Intuition is certainly a useful sense to have - it can, if we trust it, keep us from undesirable situations. You have described it very well here and written it succinctly. Good Luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy
