Look, G-Man! We're brother and sister in the zodiac chart - side by side! That must mean something! (I don't follow this stuff, so I have no idea, but our b-days are close together and great people are born on October 10, and you only missed it by a bit! Drats for you!) I liked your answer for #2, you funny man! *smile* In number 4, what's a 'work', just curious. Is it similar to a 'neck'-thing like we have in the States?

That's funny but of course the real reason for the 'u' is to soften the sound of the 'o'. When the 'u' is removed the pronunciation of the word changes. Simple phonics...

That's because Grammarly is wrong more often than not. A lot of mu author friends told me to stay away from all those programmes and learn grammar for myself without the need for a computer programme which has no 'feel' for language...
I don't use any programmes. All the best G

I use the free Grammarly, but I know that there are two spellings. The program saved my master's thesis--after I corrected it using Grammarly it was finally accepted.
