I like, that you used the fall to emphasize love. Certain times of the year are seemingly more loving than other times and certain times of the year have more meaning for some people. Thus, they love that time of year. I felt that you wrote this, as if you were doing a serenade. It was beautiful words and flowed smoothly. Good Luck in contest !! Sherman541

Each stanza has been written with care combining the most glorious of words to create a beautiful work of poetic art and ending with its repeated title, "If I did love thee in the fall." I love how you've brought to life and personified the "chorales of trees," "the rustling leaves," and "warm breezes."

The metaphorical comparison of trees draped in autumnal colored leaves to that of a church choir was a very vividly expressed image, Anonymous Poet.
In fact, this entire piece is a wonderfully well written poetic proclamation portraying passion and the purest kind of love.
I loved the repetitive "catch phrase" as well. It truly ties everything together quite nicely.
