This is very special. There is fire and there are feelings. The fire is of course metaphorical. The power of written words can create more heat in people leading to friction .
all the best for the contest.

Yes! Three cheers for the heat that leads to friction, all caused by the power of the written word. So then, also, three cheers for us writer-types!
Great review, Sanku; thank you for the smile.

You did a great job. Mystery Author, with your contest entry. Your few syllable as required create great imagery. I could feel the intensity of your words. Good job with the color scheme and picture. Both relate well. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

Thank you, Jan! You are the first person to comment favorably on the color scheme, so this is very validating to me!! Thanks for this wonderful feedback, together with your gracious words about the other parts of the poem, as well.
Comment from Lance S. Loria
Very nice 5-7-5 poem with matching syllable counts. The artwork is complimentary to the poem subject. The font colors are a little hard to read. I enjoyed the read and don't have any edits or adjustments.

How to appeal to a writer indeed! Oh my - what can I say but...
I love the way the
bonfires in your veins sizzle
and torment my soul
Reminds me of the old BeeGee's song "It's only words... but words are all I have... to take your heart away. Really well done. I wish I had said it! I wish someone had said it to me. Best wishes for the contest.

Comment from Gloria ....
Very nice response to the prompt. It fits the simple contest requirements but more importantly it speaks to the power of the written word to spark fire in the blood.
Excellent job and best of luck to you in the voting booth.
