Very clever and humorous poem that brings back some memories of my own dealings . There is no doubt it lightens the wallet. Have a good day.

Thanks, Barry. I didn't think too much about the cost until I retired.

My first read of the day and I am glad it started off with a smile.
A very delightful and fun read that one's aching joints are feeling just a little bit better!
Good luck in the contest and thank you for the smile.
Best wishes,
Mary

It is 4:30 a.m. in the morning, sitting alone. After reading your poem, you had me laughing. Not about your pain, but the thought you brought up. The patient's leg being wrapped almost around his neck. In the end, he is painfree with a thinner wallet. Thank you for the laugh. And great poem.

It's 4:30 here too. Slept in front of the television again. Thanks for the review. If I sleep in that chair very often, I will have to go to my chiropractor again.

Oh good gravy Marie! No more calls please we have a winner!
Paul--this is absolutely hilarious! I have a love hate relationship with chiropractor...
I love to feel better...he hates to let go of my credit card!
Pretty sure I slipped a disc or two laughing so hard!
You'll be pleased to know the name of my chiropractor! (No kidding)
He's: Dr. Doctor.
You can't make this stuff up!
Awesome poem!

Hahahahaha. What a delightful poem. I really laughed when your leg was behind your ear! I went to a chiropractor years ago and the awful sound my back made when we snapped it, I thought I was a goner. Never went back.

You need a space between line 4-5 stanza eight, don't you think?
I love the piece completely. Nice to have you compete. Good luck. It was funny. ............................

This is a truly funny poem Paul! I'd have to say you've exaggerated quite a bit though. ;p The result is a very funny story that I'm sure anyone would find entertaining and amusing. I hope you catch some prizes in this contest. Best wishes. MM

Thanks, Adonna. I'm six feet six inches tall. It must look funny with this little guy trying to adjust this big body.

Please allow me to say without reservation, you are one of my favorite FanStory poets. Your poem resonates with me because I used to work at a medical school that trains Osteopathic physicians. They are rather critical of chiropractors, making fun of the pain they sometimes inflict on their patients. Remembering those things made your poem even more humorous.

The school that I worked at is Western University located in downtown Pomona, California. There were many Chiropractors who enrolled as students because they wanted to be able to do all the things that regular doctors were able and licensed to do.
