Lovely artwork and nice presentation, Debi. I am very sorry to hear this news. Thank you for the lovely poem letting us know. I will definitely keep Nomi in my prayers. It is always hard to review poems like these, but you did a beautiful job with the reminder of the butterfly, and we do wish there was more we could do. A very nice concluding couplet.

This is so sad that he had to lose his precious wife so soon. I know they were married 51 years and that's a long time but it's not enough for him today and I do wish him the very best and that God would comfort him and give him the glimpse of glory where his wife is. Patricia.

Nomi's wife died two days after their anniversary? That's tough.
Nomi, if you read this, please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of one who has been by your side for so very long. It will take time, my friend, but as Debi says in this lovely poem, one day you will notice that it's not quite that hard to get through the day.

Hey you. Actually I had to look it up. It means a companion or mate. At first I thought it was another interpretation of Fear. So you think there is a / in it. Or is It is just FERE. I think what her shirt looks like it is a wrinkle. At least that is what I think. And yet it makes no sense, walk by faith, not companion or mate.

Hi Carol, yes, losing people is so hard as we both know. I don't know if you knew that Nomi also lost a daughter. For myself, I have never lost a spouse, and I think about it a lot as I get closer to 70 and my husband is now 73. So thank you for such a sweet message for Nomi, as he goes through this very hard time right now. I appreciate your words of friendship for both of us. Much love, Debi

I am so sorry for Nomi's loss. 51 years is a very long time to be with someone so I can't imagine the pain he is in after losing her. I really hope he can soon find some peace and be able to remember all the good times.
