A warm and endearing poem Helen as you pray for all those people who have lost someone here. It might be the first Christmas spent alone and others who have suffered illness. Your good wishes and thoughtful words help soothe the pain, a fine poem Helen, love Dolly x x x

Yes, the first year of holidays must be especially hard for our friends. Thanks for understanding, Dolly! Hugs!

-Very nice artwork and presentation, Helen.
-Thanks for the notes and for caring about
those on the site who have had some
difficult things to face.
-A very good opening verse, and I agree
that even though we haven't met in person,
we do "connect like family."
-A very good second verse, followed by
caring about those whose voice we miss on FanStory.
-You did a very good job with the form and the poem,
and especially caring and praying for others.
-That is the wonderful aspect of this site.

You do such a service for those on this site who fall ill, letting us know what is happening and who needs prayer and why.
Thank you for keeping us informed and for always accompanying your messages with a thoughtful poem.

Thanks so much, Pam. And this is not all, but I didn't want to keep going on. You probably know of others. Hugs!

A thoughtful poem and I thank you for your comprehensive notes. Obviously, there are many who are suffering at the moment and I have no doubt they appreciate your thoughts that are so well put. Thanks for sharing and have a most wonderful day.

Thanks so much for reviewing, Barry! I smiled at "comprehensive" but alas, there are so many more than I know of and more who don't want the publicity. Appreciate your kind review!
Blessings,
Helen

Thank you for these beautiful words of prayer and encouragement. I like the format of the Rondeau, and I join my words in prayer for all those who are undergoing difficulties.

The prayers we pray and those who pray for us are one of the best parts of this site. You are especially good about knowing who is having problem and bringing them to our attention. You seem to have prayer mission and I'm thankful you are my friend. The poem is beautifully done and I will pray for those you've listed. Do you know anything about Jessizero. She was writing almost every day, but I've not seen her name lately. I know she get depressed and has to go for treatment ever so often with her mental problem.

Thanks again for the super review and for your care for our Jessi! Let's keep praying for her and her niece. Maybe in another week, I'll mention about her and her niece's surgeries. Hugs!

OMG, Helen! So many in need of our prayers at this time of year. I don't know why, but it always seems worse when Christmas is near. So many of our lovely Fanstorian Family, and I'm sure there are more we've not been told about.
Your poem is so heartfelt, my friend, the format you've used is not an easy one, yet you have managed to express all your feelings, and sending a message out to us, flawlessly. I have learned to expect nothing less from you. Very well done. You stay well, my friend. Love and hugs. Sandra xxx

I know this season is extra tough on you. How are your lungs doing? Getting stronger? Please keep checking on Yvonne when you can so you can both be praying for each other. I know she's not feeling good yet. And she's alone. Thanks so much, Sandra! Hugs!

I will call her tomorrow. I hope her son comes in often, I don't think he lives too far from her. Yvonne is my SATP (sister across the pond) She made that one up! Lol.
Today is the 40th anniversary of my late husbands passing. On the 9th, I lost my dad 14 years ago. What with my brothers 1st anniversary last month, and my mother's next month, I do find it hard going. As for my health, I'm doing okay. I'm just waiting for my cataract operation to be done. I'd hoped it would be before Christmas, but I don't think it will happen now until the New Year. I can see fairly well out of my other eye thank goodness. That will be done later. Graham said he needs to trade me in!! Lol. Thanks for asking, my friend. xxxx
-
Ah, you English have quite the sense of humor. I'm glad that you and Graham can kid around like that. I'm sorry to hear about the season of grieving. I remember about Ian but I didn't know about your first husband nor about your mother's and father's. That makes winter so much harder! So glad you will talk with Yvonne. She will welcome that. 💖💖

A cleverly written poem in that format, but, more than that, it is a very compassionate poem, and you are right - there are many on our prayer lists. May each one have the comfort of knowing the presence of Jesus.

Helen.
In my opinion (because I can't) to write such an uplifting poem with these restrictions ; 15 lines long, consisting of 3 stanzas
a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet, with a rhyme scheme as
follows : aabba aabR aabbaR lines 9 and 15 are short,
Thank you for including the list of those in need of our prayers and support.
Always in my prayers,
John

Thank you so much, John! I'm honored by your super six star review. Personally, I know you could do these poetic forms if you wanted to. It's just like a math problem - but with words! Lol. Thanks most of all for your prayers!
Hugs and blessings!
