What a great way to tell a tale of History from the point of view of a fictional character that had no intentional bearing on anything. If you had been my History teacher, I might not have found it so dry.

Thank you, Beth, that's high praise. I have always loved history because it's full of personal stories. Thank you again.

It was Dawes who made the ride. Revere was captured before he got started. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very easy read.

So many different views on this ride. Certainly Revere get too much credit. As I understand it, neither Revere or Dawas made it to Concord. At the same road block where rever was arrested, Dawes was thrown from his horse, and had to walk back to Lexington. Still, their mission was successful. Plus, the colonists had already moved all their munitions from Concord---based on inside information. Margaret Kemble Gage?
Thanks, Charlie, always fun to discuss history with you.
