Your mom sounds like she was a wonderful person. It's memories like this that keep her alive, I'm sure she's so proud of you writing about her. I believe that our loved one can look in on us from time to time, so she knows how much she meant to you.

Hi Jacob, and thanks for the kind review and words for my poem for my mom. I appreciate it so much, my friend.
Also Jacob, are you still living in London? I ask because our pro football team was there playing today. It was the Minnesota Vikings against New York Jets. I don't know if you knew anything about it but I love relating a little more to some of my friends from different places in the world that way.
After all, you and so many others are like another family to me. So just thought I would ask. By the way we won and are 5-0 right now. Probably best start in the last 50 years. So thanks again!!

Hi Debi, I live in Essex which is just on the outskirts of London, it's about forty minuets for us on the train to get into central London, but I'm afraid I'm not a big football fan so I wouldn't have known about the game I'm afraid.

Ah, such a sweet poem for your mom! Beautifully written and illustrated story in a poem.
Our mothers were alike in so many ways except mine didn't sew, not a lick. She was a business woman/mother. It's hard to do those things when you work outside the home 40 hours a week. Somehow we put together good stuff with store bought masks and bed sheets (for ghosts). One year I went as a hobo with a relative's old clothes and shoes.
Again, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mama. I know how this is.

Thanks Sweetie for the lovely review, comments and six stars. You are so sweet. Good to see you reviewing. I figured most had lost their moms and could relate.
Silly girl, did you forget my mom was a school teacher? She had to stay at school till late some days for meetings cause she was given the problem kids so they have to be reported on. She taught all day, brought her work home to grade papers, took care of a family of nine, made dinner each night, and sewed not only costumes, but Christmas gifts too. She would throw things together to do costumes, but never a mask. She hated masks so she would use makeup. She was an artist too. The woman never slept. LOL. She even has a bench in the city park in her honor. Hubert H. Humphrey used to work w her regarding her special jobs and we became family friends w them. But she told him straight out she would not vote for him. They used to laugh about that. He lived only 10 miles from us. Of course my sisters were helping at home more by then or even she might have had a hard time keeping up.

Santha, I know I told you about how hard I had to train my iPad into not wanting to change your name into Santa. I worked on that for a couple years I bet. Well now it never does that anymore. But did I tell you that I was writing Terry an email about his Santa book and it kept changing it to your name now. LOL. Isn't that funny. I finally think I have it now where I can say both names.
