This is a very cute poem and the picture is equally as cute.
The rhyming scheme is perfect for the type of poem. This is perfect for a children's story book. Loved the poem and your cute granddaughter.

That is an adorable photo, the author notes give it even more meaning, the poem reads like a nice 'children's' story, has a personal feel to it, easy to relate to, leaves the reader with a warm family feeling, nice work.

Oh how very precious. Grandma's melt like butter when such a precious gift comes their way. Very sweet poem and an adorable picture. Does she live very far away? God loves you and so do I.

Yes they live at Fort Campbell, KY and I live in TX. Her mom is very good at sending pictures of her to keep me part of her life.

Cute.. Very good little poem. It could not be presented any better if it was done by pros. The little mouse is very cute.The Poem is well written and tells a very interesting story, I bet Grandma didn't stop with just one kiss on the cheek.

The rating is because I found the piece to be rudimentary and didn't really make sense to me toward the end. I can see how you saw this picture which, admittedly, is really cute, but, in the end, I don't see the connection in alluding to a general story line of the pup speaking to the kitten and then all of a sudden shes speaking to grandma. I'm probably reading too much into this, but it's only to justify my opinion of this being a good and not great poem. Thanks for sharing.

Cutest mouse I've seen for a while. Very sweet and well written. The cat was totally in character as was the pup, to say nothing of the Grandma! :)
