Hello Earthwriter,
Well said! Blessings are indeed in need of counting. Every time one listens to a news report, it most certainly can be a big downer. I love to tune in to a particular radio station that has made it their business to report one happy story for each unhappy one they report. Now there's a possitive approach... and so is your poem. It is truly an excellent reminder for all of us. Thanks for sharing this refreshing, well written poem.
Cheers,

Sounds like a great plan. This was a pleasure to read and review. Nicely done. I think you are right, but unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way, right? Good job.

I agree with you totally 100%! People focus way too much on problems and not solutions. I like the words in your poem: toxic conversations/noise pollution.

This poem reminds me of mostly everything that is going on in the world right now. Everybody spends too much time complaining and not enough time trying to fix things. Your poem is very true. Nice job!

Good idea, Earthwriter. Your name says it all. I suspect you are a helper yourself. Your personality bleeds through your writing...Good job, I intend to see more of your work.. Bob (Mastery)

Good job with your message that we need to stop concentrating on the negative and get up and do something to make things better. Nicely written.

A terse, succinct statement of the negative effects of negativity in this free verse. I love the statement "blessings in need of counting" and the suggested remedy of the positive conclusion: "Help Somebody!" Best wishes, Jeanie Mercer

Love your opening and I am reading it on Sunday, so I find it the perfect meditation:omplaints
futile
unproductive
toxic conversations
noise pollution
And your closing is perfect:blessings
in need of
counting
Help Somebody!
Yes! Help somebody!
