This is a beautiful, touching story. You did a wonderful job of building the characters and making them real. Your story flowed smooth and the pace was just right, leading me from paragraph to paragraph, while keeping my interest all of the way through.
I didn't feel that the story was too long, it owuld have been a shame to leave out the description of the small town and the people who lived there.
Your resolution at the last of the story was heartwarming, and so satisfying, this is a great narrative!
