An interesting read of anger, forgiveness, and love. The author's note at the bottom was interesting. We've all had something like that happen and can relate. The dogwood is such a magnificent tree and deserves a poem.

A very touching and wonderful piece of writing.
He is all around us if we just open our eyes and heart and acknowledge his presence.
A very inspirational poem truly from the heart.

Countless times I have spurned Him
and lost sight of Him along the way.
But He refuses to lose me.
Beside this unsuspecting
peaceful pathway,
enveloped by an
ethereal chapel of majestic
white flowering dogwood,
He bids me welcome,
and I accept.
I am no stranger to God,
nor is He to me,
on this splendid
Easter morn.<---------------I am grateful to Heavenly Father for that not giving up part, and recogonizing the potential we still have waiting for us to discover it

Lovely poem Mrs. KT. You have certainly captured in your poem the beauty of spring. I live in the Pacific Northwest where spring comes very early. We have different vegetation but just as beautiful.
I love your poem. Thank you for sharing.

Mrs. KT,
There are dogwoods all around where we live and they are the most beautiful trees that I have ever seen! My favorite in Texas was the Magnolias but the dogwoods are so much more beaustiful.
Thank you for sharing thi beautiful poem for Easter. The house was very quiet yesterday for there were no kids. My only child is 21 years old and she was at my mother's yesterday with her new boyfriend. I did get to tlk with her on the phone.
There was no SPAG. No problems at all.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

Very nice work, and a beautiful Easter poem. I'm in North Carolina, and I know the area you speak of very well. It's truly God's country, and you capture it well.

Your feelings are my feelings You have expressed the thoughts of many others in your beautiful poem. Your words bring truth and joy in a well written and well thought out poem. Good job.

Absolutely Glorious!
I spent my summers in Michigan's Kewanaw Peninsula and just revisited when my mother said her final goodbyes in gasping breaths.
I too, am no stranger to God. Are any of us? No, I think not.
But I LOVE the way you've captured the nuance of familiarity to his spirit, his love and your love of nature and all that he created.
You seem to know him intimately and I find this a treasure and a rare find, indeed, in poetic prose.
Stunning imagery and evoked emotion!
THANK YOU!
GOD BLESS!

What a beautiful Easter/spiritual poem
this poem flowed well and I loved the authors notes as well. Dogwoods are one of my favorite trees..and I cant imagine anyone purposefully cutting one down--how awful but how wonderful the ones you planted bloomed!
I dont have anything to recommend to make your poem better...
well done

I really like this free verse poem. It has a
nice structure to it. It has a mce flow as well.
No errors noted. The picture is one of my
favorites and the background colors blend well.
I like the repetition which is well spaced.
It has great imagery throughout.
