Hi Brooke, love this for its simplicity and truth. It reminds me of this verse from the Psalms:
Psalm 89:1; I will sing of the Lord's great love forever;
with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
2 I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself. Blessings, Dennis

the poem, itself, is of course amazing but what i truly marvel is the difficulty you must have faced while writing it. its such a hard format to write upon and yet, you have done it, and written it very well on top of that.

This is a fine and uplifting poem from the author. The writer manages to get a strong religious message across to the reader. The main message is that with God by our side, there is nothing that we cannot achieve.

A beautifully written rondeau,
the flow to the words, and to both
rhythm and rhyme, all excellent, Brooke...
with your faith shining through.

I loved this beautiful and so very well written poem. The gentle cadence of your words led smoothly to each new stanza. I have never heard of this type of poetry. As I look at the requirements you have certainly have done a fantastic job. Teresa.

I do love this repeating form,and you use it so beautifully. I do love the three repeats ... threes are a wonderful pattern. If I ever turn to a rhyming form, this will be the one.
Wonderful, uplifting statement of faith.
Guess, I have to wait until September to light you up with all of the stars that you deserve.
Hugs, d

Very inspirational. It's so wonderful to go to God, not only when we are troubled and afraid, but in joyful times as well. Both times most definitely restores our faith. Good luck in the contest.

Just lovely, Brookes. I love that short repeated line in the last two stanzas. They seem to cap off the rhythm. Nice form this Rondeau. Good luck in the contest!
