Though I can't begin to imagine the horrors of PTSD and therefore cannot empathize, I CAN sympathize. Your heart-wrenching poem vividly describes that downward spiral.

There were, of course, many strong images which is good because good poetry is known for images.
I wonder why you wrote with spaces between each line. I figure you had a reason. Is it to emphasize the fall into a kind of insanity? It did seem like a chute you fell down.
I will remember your poem and pray for your release.

The way you had this poem spaced out and the way you kept the sentences short sure emphasized the tempo of your stress. Glad you pulled yourself out.
