Wow. wish I had a sixer left for this excellent 5-7-5 Writing prompt entry. It flows so smoothly and fulfills the promise of haiku. Your last line is infinitely satisfying ;) Well, done my friend - Marcia

Such a cool choice of word here: 'ardent'... love the emotion that adds to your imagery! :) :) A wonderful offering in only seventeen syllables here - thanx for sharing and best of luck to you at the polls! ;)

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the fallen crisp leaves rustling in the northern whirlwind ardent breaking down for the coming winter season.

Your use of the literary techniques will draw the reader in. You also create an onomatopoetic effect with your s's. Some of your words are onomatopoetic also. The reader will be drawn to identify the experience, some sadly, only vicariously. Well expressed.

I get a picture of leaves, brown and maybe a still a little golden, swirling around in the wind. Like a tornado of leaves, as dawn approaches in the sky.

That was the most beautiful autumnal poem. It had terrific imagery and visuals; I also loved your artistic presentation, the artwork and that big font, which appeased these eyes (smile).

This should do very well in the contest; good luck in the booths.

This 5-7-5, Long Fallen Crisp Leaves, has the proper formatting and creates the picture of falls fury and the dead leaves caught up in the times.

I love the sounds of your poem from the sound of "crisp" and "rustle" and " whirlwind" which all helps us to hear th autumnal wind breaking the dawn. Beautifully done!

This is a nice Haiku poem for the contest, The artwork works very well and adds a lot to the visualization of the poem.
I can't think of anything to make it better.
Good luck.
