Yvette,
Yes, the elusive pot of gold hides from most of us. But the search for it is always available regardless of age.
Do like your artwork and text color scheme. Both add to the overall presentation for this contest entry.

Awesome writing. I like this in searching for forevers key. ''Twas eternity I spied. Alas it lingered out of reach where distant childhood rainbows hide. Very beautiful imagery and your choice of colours for your background and font really stand out. Very well done.

Oh, wow, Joanne - such a wonderful review, my lady, and those stars are just lovely!! ;) :) Ya know, twenty words isn't much to work with, but I enjoy a challenge when it comes to numbers - lol! ;) :) Once a nerd, always a nerd, I suppose... thanx so much for the review and be sure to stop by again sometime! ;) :) Have a wonderful week of lovely October skies! ;) Yvette

This is both an emotional and an intellectual entry in the 20 Word Poem contest. I like the owl in the picture representing wisdom. We all have childhood memories, and also memories about forks in the roads of later life. People are blessed when they view Eternity as being a place of joy and satisfaction without any concerns about what right and wrong roads we traveled during our time on Earth. Best wishes, Yvette!

I really liked this poem; its wording and meaning.
It meets the 20-word criteria.
The artwork is very nice too.
The last line gave me pause, however. Because there are so many words, the beat is off. I know in this kind of poem you aren't required to count syllables. But when I read poems, I say them out loud and when the beat is off, it diminishes the work to my mind. That is only my opinon perhaps. Hence 4 stars from me.

The author's words are engaging, interesting and creative. I pondered
on my childhood memories as I thought about it's beauty. The artwork is perfect as it colors the world of eternity with bliss.
Have a great weekend, Yvette!

Strong poem, sometimes when looking back at life it feels that our childhood, our youth, and our yesterday's were a different life altogether. We are after all works in progress. As always your verse and its presentation are excellent. Good luck with the contest.

Interesting, it makes you think a bit. I'm not quite ready for eternity yet, but when I am I hope it's not out of reach. I like poems that makes me stop and think on foe awhile. Goid luck in the contest.

Hello Yvette.
You have captured the essence of a search for the meaning of eternity. Unfortunately, some are unconvinced and prefer the fate of annihilationism.
Good luck in the contest.
