An unusual love poem of the vampire for his undead queen. Excellent poetic devices throughout - especially the rhyme and alliteration which make a poem flow and a joy to read aloud.

Oh, a lovely poem about a cold and lonely vampire wishing the love of a warm and young skin. There are several magnetic lines that called this reader in. I think love themes can sometimes trespass the focused borders of reality.

This would have made a most worthy entry for the Halloween contest as well. Excellent rhyming, which is what it's all about for this contest. I think the young lady should consider herself very lucky he seems to have had a change of heart along the way. A well-written piece, best of luck in the contest. Craig

A familiar theme of love denied by the fact that the two lovers are incredibly unmatched. Sometimes it's two people of the same gender, sometimes it is two people of different religions or races, warring countries or warring families. In either case the relationship is threatened because of obstacles that can seem to be insurmountable.
