CIAO TEMPESTE: Well...here we go again...Miss smarty pants. Teaching me a bunch of stuff that's worth knowing...that I don't know. But like I told you when we first met. "There's enough that I don't know...to create another universe. I don't know everything. But I do know my soul mate when I see her." Believe it or not...in my country...men are called, "turkeys," by women. That suits me fine...because thanks to my soul mate...I know now that I'm too big to fit in her oven. And the nerve of those hens. Now I've learned that most turkeys are females. Ha ha ha ha. Much thanx for the info, my lady love. God bless you, Tempeste. Cordially: rhonnie69.

Ciao Rhonnie !
In all honesty , I did not know that Thanksgiving Turkeys are females ..hens either.. ( biggrin)
My biggest point though was that each year the slaughter continues like in my country for Easter
2 millions lambs between 4-6 months are killed ..
How can one celebrate knowing that ??
Keep safe Rhonnie!
And thank you for all the support and six star offerings.. it s all much appreciated! (Smile)

This is a good and informative bit of writing for the November writing contest. If one does not eat Turkey or meat in general they are doing good things for the planet as well as the animals.
