This is starting to remind me of the Brady Bunch. Did the dog go with you guys at Christmas? Pretty little photo. Bimbo by Jim Reeves, yep, remember it well.
Good one Beth.

Thank you for the review and comments. Yes the dog went with us. One of the few times, he every got to go outside. I have picture of my mom holding him. I had a lot of kids, but not as many as you.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I had just put it on there. I would have notified you. I had read over it and caught the two spags, but I appreciate you letting me know when you see something.

This is a mock story you write for your children; this chapter from the book Remembering Yesterday speaks about your living in disasters in Fall and Winter of 1976 through a nicely flown taletelling with good plot development, good beginning and nice ending; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. Another very full chapter!
I can relate to Carmen as I learned English from watching TV. As a result, I didn't pick up the pidgin English as much as my peers in Hawaii.

The idea of letting Carol have a pet to care for sounds like a good way to keep her from becoming too introverted. It's good that you enlisted the kids' help with dinner. I never did and as a result, my kids never got into cooking.

The flooding sounds awful. I hope the carpet didn't smell after being so wet! Speaking of flooding, did you ever experience a hurricane while you lived there?

Comments:
was a medium-size puddle (poodle?)
and Carol begin to plead (began)
pick up Connie from Melanies. (Melanie's)
I would be almost to tired to eat (too)
but she was still to young (too)

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I also appreciate you catching those spags. As for hurricanes, yes, you will read about that in a chapter coming up in the near future.

How interesting your adventures at Christmas, my mother insisted on us being present at Christmas time, even on holiday we'd have to rush back each year. Elaine took the mantle later My daughter who lives near, takes charge now, I love the family matters, pipes breaking in the wall aren't great. Well done Beth, good writing, blessings Roy
Suggestion. Begin or began? Typo : things might not (be) going well, 2 something I might be
(Interesting) in having. Interested? 3 : still to(o) young

Thank you for the review and comment and for catching the spags. The tradition of getting together for Holidays goes on. When Evan was alive we always had everyone come there. The children will take over this year.
