You're right we all need to exercise the privilege. Whichever candidate wins we still live in a great country. Personally I feel we need to have a change of presidents. Vote the hateful one out and vote the compassionate one in.

I like this because it isn't divisive. Meaning it doesn't polarize by taking a side. I had to decide between your entry and another for who got my........ vote. Well done and good luck.

An excellent choice for the 1-6-1 format. I, too, believe we need to vote, no matter how we feel about the different issues and candidates. We truly are all in the same boat. Nice rhyme choice, by the way, "vote" and "boat," with the oft used metaphor of all of us experiencing the same situation, as in "in the same boat." Well written and extremely timely. Thank you for the reminder.

Well, who will win? The country seems split down the middle. Maybe the boat is sinking. I hope not. The country has to get behind whoever wins. His job will be to reunite the USA, the greatest country in the world. It won't be easy. But you are right, voting is so important. I believe there was a real good turnout.
