To see such a thing as your wonderful poem describes approaching is to feel a primal fear, especially when it is a broad twister.The slender ones give us hope we can escape, but some of them are worse than hurricanes. I've lived through a couple!

The placement of words is very important in this poem. The sounds although not strictly alliterative are onomatopoetic. They sound like a storm. There is strong imagery of animation. Well expressed.

I think this is a good entry for the Write a Descriptive 2-10-2 Poem writing prompt.
This short piece describes a twister very well and the picture is amazing.
