Interesting thought on the life of an object, never imagined someone would consider the life of a minute :) I would have loved more stories or thoughts invoked in the poem though.

All the best for the contest,
George

Thank you for the great review, George. Yeah, I couldn't really put more stories or thoughts into it seeing how I only had sixty syllabled total to work with. That's the form of poetry it is, a minute poem. So I wrote a minute on a minute. Lol. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have a great rest of your weekend.

It's a very interesting response to the prompt 'The life of a...........'reflecting on the poetic format of the Minute Poem - all too soon expressed

This is short but it feels meaningful and solid. It also reminds how fragile and brief a minute is. Now, the bad news. You must rewrite the title to:
"The Life of a Minute" or something like that for this not to be disqualified.

It is too good not to be in the voting booth.

I enjoyed your minute. The best part to me was your line that our poems give a glimpse behind our minds. I never thought of reading poetry that way, but that is so true on FanStory. You make friends, then, by regularly reading their writings, you see how their minds work, what they really believe and feel. You don't get that experience from people in general. It's special.
Of course I like that you tie the minute poem to the minutes it takes to write it. That is very clever.
I'm glad that I read this one.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review, Debbie. Yes, it took a good bit longer than a minute to compose this minute. Lol. I really appreciate the gracious stars. I'm glad you liked the piece.
