This is pretty good. I like the message, the smooth meter and wording.
Whatever is happening in the world today would appear to be of Revelations. If God is real, He's our only hope. Otherwise we'll, you know.
Great job.

This is a tribute to color. Have you seen the glasses people can wear & are able to see colors for the first. So this poem describes the colorless world of those people. This is also a tribute for the sun. Whether it shines or not determines my uplifting spirit. Well described.

It also reminds me of the song My Coloring Book

This is a well thought out presentation for the 'Colourless' writing prompt. I really love the picture. I also enjoyed the positive message at the end. Nicely done.

Hello, anonymous,

Excellent entry for the Colourless writing prompt contest. I can't imagine a world without color...so sad.

You are right, I think you still have to have black, gray, and white.

Good luck in the contest.

Very much enjoyed this poem which breathes optimisim despite the dullness and dreariness of a world without colour. What a lesson - no matter what the circumstances we can still appreciate and value what we have - here, our remaining senses and our memory of colour. Thank you.
Best wishes for the contest.

Thank you so much. I just thought about how I would feel without color in my life, then realized that there was still much to be happy about. Thanks again for reading. :)

This was brilliant - I wish I had a six left for it. Alas, my larder is empty.

It is about the fourth poem I read for this contest; and they are all incredible.

You bring out well what the world would be me like without color. When you think on it, things would indeed be very miserable.

Excellent rhymes and meter.

These stood out, and put a smile on my face:

The clergy cries, "Beg for redemption!"
so, earth's colors, our faith will restore.

Thank you for sharing. This was quite a treat.
But I think that it's worthy of mention,
that it's God we already implore.

I'm glad to read a poem that is optimistic in the end about this subject. Yes. No matter how gray the world is, our internal world can always to be bright and full of colors.

Well done.

This is an incredibly powerful poem! I'm am being 100% serious when I say that this made me cry. Its sends such a beautiful message but does not ignore the inevitable pain that would come from such a phenomenon. I think you have a winner on your hands here

A very well-written poem about a colorless world will definitely not such a pretty place. We who have memories not color can still imagine the colors beyond the gray. But those who are born in a colorless world have nothing else.

I love this poem, it provides a meaning to all that the real world of color provides. Nothing seems forced, it flows very well. Embraces the sense and the importance of color to our feeling and sight.
This would have been six stars, if a white print was used. I understand the grey, but grey on black is very difficult to read.

Thanks for the nice review. I used the gray on black because I thought it added to the theme of the poem, but I understand that it might be difficult to read. I just wanted to convey what it might feel like to experience life without color. Thank you again for this great review. :)
