Good politicians are needed today. The ideal leader is but a story nowadays, as nations wrestle with corrupt ones non-stop. Thanks for sharing.
Few questions:
* interest of all citizens always one's goal -> 'always one's goal' does not suit the line, it's incomplete
* Charge from those one represents to be a good person -> Could you explain what you meant by this, did not understand it. Please check if the line is correctly written.

One's goal meaning to satisfied the citizen's interest should be the mail goal of a politician.
Charge meaning the people want their representative to be a good individual who cares about them. The charge be good for us, and not just for yourself.

But I am not sure if the first line I mentioned is correct. I think there is something missing, or it feels like two sentences put together.
The beginning of the second line I mentioned is not a usage I have seen before, so I'm not sure about it.
I do recommend having it checked by someone, lest other reviewers flag you for the same.

These stood out:

All the attributes you integrate into your worthy poem are your descriptions of a politician. That must be why Trump was emphatic he wasn't a politician - so he could get away from honoring these basics of ethical representation for the people.
