Very good. Around here everyone is putting up their Christmas lights early to bring some cheer into our world. Surely the do add some colour and encouragement at this time.

That's wonderful. We meant to put ours up early, but too late! Winter has arrived. Oh, well. Thanks do much for reading.

Very nice work. My only problem is the line with blue and white lights. I believe blue and white are the colors for the Jewish celebration of Chanukah. Don't know if this was intentional to show a mixing of the holidays, but it took me out of the poem.

Thank you for pointing that out, I had no idea. I just happen to like the color blue, but I changed it to red. I really appreciate you reading my poem and helping me out the way you did. Thanks again. :)
