What an imaginative and creative piece of writing. The Christmas you describe is so very different from our Christmas in Australia (no snow, for starters - we are worried about the weather because of bushfires!) Very well written!

Well Terry and I were "rocking around the Christmas Tree" with your Christmas melody road trip.
We even invited our little next door neighbor to come for cookies and this "little boy is a drummer boy"...rumm pumm pumm....
My nephew Matt dropped by and showed us his little boys smile....gap toothed as can be ....and you guessed it "All he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth"....
Well "Santa Baby" promised that Terry and I would "get a hippopotamus for Christmas" or an Italian Donkey named Dominic but we have not seen either one show up yet.....That is okay Sally because...
Terry and I "needed a little Christmas Right this very minute" and we got it when we read your melodious poem.

What a great story. You really know your Christmas carols. I enjoyed reading this and was able to find some of them, but not nearly the whole list. This would make a great idea for a Christmas party. Do I have your permission to make a copy of it?

Sally you've cleverly summed up the joys of Christmas and presented us with great fun! I recognized most of the Christmas songs, but there are some I've never heard of. That could be because of the location where I live. All countries and regions have their favourites.
