Wow! Your formatting is superb and you rhymed all through the nonet. And ending with needle-precision with an exclamation point! Perfectly done. Hope you do well in the contest!

What a fun poem and perfect for this format. Very lively and fun...I can almost see the top spin.
Your word choice is also really good. As it gets lower and fewer words, it gets harder to say what you want to.
The artwork, especially the change in colors is cool.
Really nice job.
Happt Thanksgiving Day.

Thanks for your comments and good wishes.
I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving... we don't have that celebration here in New Zealand.

A very novel looking poem. I like the form that a nonet takes but in this case the coloured sentences and the shape that matches your top, present a very attractive look.

Very well written poem. Love your presentation. Great flow and rhyme. Nice photo reminds me of when I was a child I always had a spin top. Good luck in the contest.

Congrats on your prize!

Whimsy in fine form--spot-on image of a spinning top--ingenious! Clever touch with the exclamation "point" as the tip. (Some more metaphorically-minded than me might conjure a figurative "unstable, undone, soon-to-fall" top Trumping the literal.)

You are getting good at reading metaphor... I did indeed have a certain person in mind.

You've just described my feelings after shopping for Christmas 2020. I stand in lines at every store, six feet apart is such a bore, hating these bloody masks to my very core, a distressing depressing detestable chore!
"So undone, I've been spun!"
TILT! TILT! TILT!
I count the proper syllables for your nonet entry.
Good Luck in the contest!
Cheers,
Kimbob

A very novel style of poetry, and very luminous and cheerful as well, all of us will feel this way somethings. I admire this line in particular "I spin around - I'm a top. Very soon I will stop.." maybe?

This is very clever and you have managed to create a perfectly formed nonet here for the contest! A spinning top nonet! Much enjoyed, a fine presentation, love Dolly x

LisaMay -You obeyed all the rules and did not loose your balance. Frankly, I am far too dizzy to say anymore. LOL! Stay safe and stay healthy - Jerry

What a terrific shape nonet, it it's taken the form of a perfect triangular shape, that truly takes som skill to do. It also resembles the spinning top, bu with the extra dimension, well done, LisaMay. Well done, blessings Roy
